Of course, this requires connections and plugs between towing vehicle and trailer which are able to cope with digital data. ERICH JAEGER \u2013 the expert for trailer connectors \u2013 is already working on developing solutions for this future.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"c-news-article__bodytext\">\n<h4>The High-Speed Interface data connector<\/h4>\n<p>To this end, the company presents a design study for a data connector: Based on the proven 15-pin system according to ISO 12098 for commercial vehicles, the ERICH JAEGER designers developed a connector system for the quick transmission of digital signals. It features two shielded 2-pin data lines with a transmission rate of 1 Gbit\/s.
