EN 50306-4 Multi-core Screened and un screened cables are produced by TecniKabel a wide range of rolling stock or signaling cables, in compliance with domestic and international standards and requirements. Both standard and customized cables – upon specific customer’s request – are manufactured. Focus is given to cable behavior with special features towards fire performance and low smoke and toxic gases emission. Cables comply with EN 11170, DIN 5510, NFPA 130, EN 45545-2:2013 and NF C32-070:2001 standards.
All cables have stranded Tinned Copper Conductors, thin wall thickness Halogen Free Insulation and standard thickness Halogen Free Sheath. Cable types are specified for use Exposed situations (Class E), and for Protected situations (Class P). They are for use in railway rolling stock as fixed wiring, or wiring where limited flexing in operation is encountered
Special Features of SINGLE-CORE CABLES COMPLYING WITH EN 50264-2-1
- All cables have Class 5 Tinned Copper Conductors according to IEC 60228, Halogen-Free Insulation
- Halogen-Free Sheath
- The requirements provide for a continuous conductor temperature not exceeding 90°C and
- Maximum temperature for short circuit conditions of 160°C based on a duration of 5 seconds.
