Erich Jaeger: 7P Connector System BASIC BLUE for The Transmission of Camera Signals

Turning assistants and camera systems for trucks and buses have long been established within the market. However, to equip semitrailers and drawbar combinations with such technology, a new interface between trailer and towing vehicle is necessary. ERICH JAEGER offers a solution for transmitting video data from a trailer camera to a vehicle‘s cockpit: The new 7-pin connector system BASIC BLUE enables the driver to observe everything which happens next to or even in the trailer. The connector system is based on the proven system according to ISO 7638-2 and thus is fit for demanding environmental conditions.
