M81044 Series wire stranded tin coated copper. Military and airframe applications where high density cabling and harnessing are required. This specification offers low weight resistance to chemicals, abrasion, and shrink back. General purpose equipment wire. This wire has cross-linked polyalkene primary insulation and cross-linked modified PVDF jacket insulation with dual-wall construction. The wire was formerly listed under MIL-W-81044 and is supplied in full compliance with SAE AS81044 specification requirements.
