We’re introducing our new Unshielded Single Twisted Pair Cables, especially designed for In Flight Entertainment systems (IFE) where an unshielded cable meets the installation requirement and to save weight on aircraft.
The GF100-24TPNS can be used in RS422, RS485, NTSC/PAL and RS170 data and video applications where an Unshielded data pair can be used. This cable has also been tested and approved for C-Stream Video Applications for Astronics CCC equipment.
The laser markable 100ohm cable is Skydrol resistant, passes FAA Flammability requirements. It is an alternative to commonly used PIC E60224, with the additional benefit of a Silver-Plated Copper Alloy Conductor (SPCA), to the requirements of SAE International Aerospace Standard AS50881*.
Benefits of Unshielded Single Twisted Pair Cables include:
-
Reduced weight and size
-
Increased Flexibility
-
Smaller Bend Radius
-
